About the Learning Commons
Located in the heart of the Academic Building, the Academy’s Learning Commons is more than just a library. Opened in March 2020, the Learning Commons is home to over 2,500 physical volumes and resources that reflect our institutional values, beliefs and diversity. The space also serves as a classroom and meeting space, providing students, faculty and families a place to gather, study and collaborate.
We believe that students are best served by learning about the world around them through both fiction and non-fiction. through a variety of stories and lenses we better prepare our young people to be positive forces for change in the universe and to serve both themselves and others. It is only through learning about others that we learn about ourselves.
