Christina Seix Academy is an innovative pre-K 3 to 8th grade independent school in Trenton, New Jersey, committed to empowering young people from marginalized communities to grow From Potential to Achievement by ensuring their voices are heard, acknowledged, and affirmed.

Beginning at age three, Christina Seix Academy builds a strong academic foundation by combining rigorous instruction, individualized support, and close partnerships with families.

This early start allows students to develop the skills, confidence, and habits needed to succeed in highly selective independent high schools, and beyond.

Yearly Enrollment

Each year, the Academy enrolls a cohort of approximately 20 pre-K 3 students from Trenton and the greater Mercer County area.

Our intentionally small class sizes allow for meaningful relationships and personalized attention, while our admissions process seeks to create a cohort that is gender balanced and reflective of the ethnic composition of our community.

We believe parents and families are essential partners in this journey and play a vital role in creating a supportive, thriving learning environment for every child.

Support and Guidance

The Academy receives several hundred applications each year, which we understand is far more than the number of available spaces.

While we are unable to offer admission to every applicant, our admissions team is committed to supporting families throughout the process and, when appropriate, helping them explore other charter and independent school options in the region. There are many strong educational pathways available, and opportunity extends for every child well beyond a single admissions decision.
