Smarter Path to College - Celebrating the partnership with First Tee

Christina Seix Academy was honored to celebrate First Tee while co hosting an inspiring “Smarter Paths to College” reception, a truly special evening dedicated to the future of our students and the diverse athletic opportunities that can lead to success in high school, college, and beyond. The evening featured a powerful panel conversation with Miles Smith, Associate Director of Athletics at Princeton University, alongside the First Tee of Greater Trenton leadership team, including Ed Benson, Executive Director, Robert Connelley, Program Director, and Rob McGill, Lead Coach, who shared invaluable perspectives on expanding access, mentorship, and opportunity through sport.

The night was beautifully set in motion by our CSA cheerleaders, who opened the program with an incredible personalized cheer honoring First Tee and celebrating the spirit of partnership that defined the event.

Beyond the panel, families engaged in a dynamic tabling experience with First Tee, Princeton National Rowing Association (PNRA), and New Jersey Tennis and Learning (NJTL). This gave our community meaningful exposure to new opportunities and created space for deep connection with organizations committed to student growth. Students even joined in a friendly house competition, engaging hands-on with athletic impact data to explore how "opportunity sports" can shape their future success.

At CSA, we believe deeply in the power of partnership. This evening reflected what is possible when organizations come together to expand access and create lasting opportunities for young people. Thank you to Princeton University, NJTL, PNRA, and First Tee for helping make the night truly unforgettable.
