Last week, our school community came together in a joyous celebration of our dedicated educators during Educator Appreciation Week. It was a truly memorable event filled with fun, gratitude, and a whole lot of carnival spirit!
Throughout the week, our Teachers and Residential Life educators were showered with appreciation and recognition for their tireless efforts in support of our students. The theme for this year's Educator Appreciation Week was "Carnival Fun," and it was a hit! Our Think Tank was transformed into a fun carnival atmosphere, complete with colorful decorations, lively music, and, of course, exciting games and snacks for everyone to enjoy. Games included a Balloon Dart Toss, Carnival Corn Hole and Lucky Spin-a-Wheel. Every time educators played, they had chances to win raffle tickets for a big prize given out during Friday’s community meeting. The lucky raffle prize winner was Ms. Valeen Williams, our amazing Dance Teacher, who won a CSA backpack filled with swirly lollipops and a Stanley water bottle. In addition, every educator received something special at our “Prize Booth” on Friday afternoon.
Special thanks to our amazing Parents, Parent Ambassadors and volunteers for their constant support, time, and contributions toward the carnival treats and games.
Educator Appreciation Week was a reminder of the incredible impact our educators have on the lives of our students and the importance of recognizing and celebrating their efforts. Let's continue to celebrate and uplift our educators, not just during special events like Educator Appreciation Week, but every single day. Please click here to see photos from throughout the week.
