On Wednesday, May 8, 2024, we hosted our first Literary Leaders: Men Nurturing a Love Of Reading event at CSA.
This event was created to celebrate both our love for reading as a community as well as our incredible fathers and father figures!
The special experience began with a meet and greet with Dr. Connor as he detailed some initiatives for the upcoming school year with the men further affirming the importance of our partnership with the gentlemen in our community.
Then our incredible group of men read engaging books to the classrooms of grades PK3 through 4th grade and they also did a hands-on activity. Students absolutely loved it!
We had fathers, uncles, grandfathers and staff that supported this event. It was a wonderful turnout, and we look forward to continuing this event next year. Thank you so much to all who attended! You may also view photos from the event here.
