Advocacy
Christina Seix Academy’s team members advocate on behalf of students’ academic, physical, mental, and social well-being, while simultaneously teaching and coaching our students executive functioning and other vital life skills for handling challenges and advocating for themselves.
Such advocacy efforts, coupled with parental involvement, form the building blocks for our students’ advancement. On average, we have over 2,000 advocacy touchpoints with CSA families each school year.
Our Approach to Advocacy
At CSA, we believe that academic objectives are equally as important as helping families develop strong community networks, resources, and, when necessary, receive urgent support. We strive to offer many services that allow families to amplify their understanding of their civic rights, mental and physical health practices, social opportunities, and collective voices as they advance their child’s academic journey.
