8th graders are learning how to grow their own food, be more sustainable, and why knowing where your food comes from is so important. As the 8th graders learn the physical sciences, we begin to pair those lessons with ones from the land. We are understanding contact and non-contact forces. We used the very lettuce we grew to do our experiment! We begin to explore the cause and effect of soil, seed, water, and sun ☀️Stop by the greenhouse where you can pick fresh veggies for your salads and sandwiches!
