The Arts

CSA offers a variety of vibrant opportunities to engage in performing arts throughout the school year. Our dynamic performing arts curriculum nurtures creative expression, teamwork, and confidence through dedicated instruction in string instruments, choir, and dance acress all grade levels.

Dance

Whether it is in a classroom, studio, or stage, CSA recognizes the value in music and performing arts. Dance education is fused into the curriculum in each grade, along with opportunities to perform.

Dance is offered during the regular school week, serving as a primary anchor to our Performing Arts curriculum. All students enjoy a range of dance experiences designed to provide introductory exposure and preparation for seasonal performances. Our on-campus dance studio supports students’ experiences by providing formal space for skills development, teaching, and creative expression.

Vocal Music and Choir

Christina Seix Academy’s academic program includes music education for students, with emphasis on developing musical appreciation and foundational skills such as pitch, tone, and music literacy.

Students participate in bi-annual concerts, which provide opportunities for vocal and choral performance as part of broader music showcases.

Instrumental (String) Instruction

Christina Seix Academy partners with Stretto Youth Chamber Orchestra, a community-focused ensemble that supports young string musicians through inclusive, ensemble-based learning. This collaboration is designed to foster a love of music and provide structured string learning opportunities for students throughout the Academy’s programs.

Students at Christina Seix Academy—both in the elementary grades and in the boarding program—gain access to string music education and experiences through Stretto’s.
